BRIGHTON
A relaxing coach tour along the coast, over the famous Beachy Head and the rolling South Downs to Brighton. Still the south coast’s most popular resort. The town is being revitalised with new investment. There is much to see - The Royal Pavilion, a lavish Oriental Palace completed in 1822, attests to Royal extravagance in earlier days. BATTLE & HASTINGS
A coach tour of the countryside of a defining moment in England’s History - the Battle of Hastings, visiting Battle and Hastings. Battle is dominated by the gatehouse of Battle Abbey, built by William the Conqueror and reputedly where Old King Harold fell. Also visiting cosmopolitan Hastings, home to the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in Europe, and the remains of the first castle in England to be built by William the Conqueror, a preserved Old Town and a strong local arts community.

A leisurely morning drive to nearby Lewes, nestled in the South Downs. Delightful streets and historic interest including the thousand year old Lewes Castle and Harveys Steam Brewery Shop
