Turn back the clock and travel the world with Longleat as they invite you to journey through time at The Festival of Light this Christmas.
Explore the era you want to discover as they showcase the evolution of the earth from the age of the dinosaurs to present day. This year’s spectacular lantern trail is a historical wonderland just waiting to be explored.
Become a time traveller and capture family memories with kings and queens, a giant 12 metre clock, the spectacular colours of The Arabian Nights or with the impressive House light show in celebration of Longleat opening its doors 75 years ago.

Don’t forget to capture all the treasured memories you make with your loved ones along the way with brand new photo stops built into the routes for you to enjoy.
Departure Day... We depart our pick up point and head to Clarks Village which includes the “King Arthurs Forest Play Park” You can explore to your hearts content, whether it be presents for Christmas, a lunch and glass of wine or the children playing in the Forest Play Park, there is something for all. We then check into the hotel at approx 4.30pm
Day 2... After breakfast we head to Longleat. Your entry ticket includes the Safari Drive - through on the coach. You will then have the day to explore Longleat House and the Main Square, the Adventure Castle, Hedge Maze & Little Explorers Garden. The Longleat lanterns will be turned on at approximately 4pm, adding a magic to the day’s events. We depart Longleat at approx 7pm, returning to the hotel for our evening meal at 8.30pm.
Day 3... After breakfast you can return to the Clarks Shopping Village or visit Wells, the cathedral city in the Mendip district of Somerset, on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills. Returning to the Wessex Hotel where those that remain at Clarks Village and board the coach for the return journey home.
