HEREFORD
Nearby Hereford offers everything from the ancient to the modern. The Cathedral boasts an internationally acclaimed exhibit featuring the ‘Mappa Mundi’ (a unique 800 year old map of the world)
and the ‘Chained Library’ with books dating to the 8th Century. Delve in to history or enjoy market day.

WORCESTER
A historic city with much to see; the 16th century Commandery (headquarters of Charles II prior to the
Battle of Worcester) with exhibitions including ‘Civil War’, King John’s Tomb and the Royal Worcester Pottery Museum. Why not simply enjoy tea in old Greyfriars Merchant House and Garden. (Entrances not included)

GLOUCESTER
Passing through Ross on Wye, we head for Gloucester. A vibrant city with a rich heritage. Visit the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral with its atmospheric cloisters, setting for many of the scenes from the Harry Potter films. The restored historic docks are a must – with Victorian warehouses filled with shops,
museums and attractions; the National Waterways museum, the Soldiers of the Gloucestershire museum, antique centre, restaurants, bars and cafes.

TEWKESBURY
Tewkesbury is a medieval gem famed for its timber framed buildings. An ancient settlement situated at the meeting of the rivers Avon and Severn, a delight for those seeking ‘Olde England’.
