SNOWDONIA A wonderful scenic day into Snowdonia. Through the Vale of Conwy and the lovely village of Betws-y-Coed. Past the Bridge of the Cauldron, Swallow Falls, Capel Curig, into Llanberis Pass overlooked by Mount Snowdon and returning via Conwy.

CHESTER A unique town with an atmosphere all of its own. Splendid shops along the famous ‘Rows’. Explore the Cathedral, walk the city walls or take an optional cruise on the River Dee.

PORTHMADOG & PORTMEIRION To the town of Porthmadog and included entrance to Portmeirion, the unique Italian style village, Portmeirion has served as the location for numerous films and television shows, most famously as “The Village” in the 1960s television show The Prisoner.

Travel writer Bill Bryson’s favourite seaside resort with elegant promenade and pastel coloured hotels. The fantastic sweep of the bay is overlooked by the mighty Great Orme. Take the San Franciscan style tramway to the summit or adventure on the alpine cable car (the longest in Britain). Explore the ancient copper mines - the oldest metal mines in the world. 3,500 yearold tunnels lead to an amazing prehistoric cavern.
Stroll out on the Victorian pier, the longest in Wales, and return to the town for afternoon tea in one of the many elegant cafes
